Privacy at a glance

No accounts. Just family.

Your family's whereabouts are for your family. Here is the short version. The full privacy policy is one tap away, and it says the same thing at length.

No account. No password.

The family app never asks for an email, a password or a sign-in. You start a family or join one with your family code, and someone in your family who can add people says yes. The web dashboard is approved from a family phone, not a password. (BRYKK Life is billed through your App Store or Google Play account.)

No ads. Never sold.

There are no ads, no ad networks and no advertising IDs in BRYKK, and we never sell your family's data. There's no business model that needs it: BRYKK Life pays for the product.

No third-party trackers in the apps.

The iPhone and Android apps contain no third-party analytics, error-reporting or attribution SDKs. Android uses Google's push service only to wake the app, and those pushes carry no locations or messages.

Where we're honest about limits

  • Family data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers, but it is not end-to-end encrypted: BRYKK's service reads locations to run arrival alerts.
  • BRYKK staff can access family data to run, secure and fix the service. We don't use it for ads or profiling.
  • Our website counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies; family codes and share links are removed from addresses first, and the web dashboard isn't counted. Our own service keeps usage counts keyed by scrambled (hashed) family and member IDs.
  • Problem reports are sent when you tap Send report, or on their own only if you turn on automatic problem reports. If BRYKK closes unexpectedly, a short summary (never your location, places or messages) is sent unless you turn it off in Settings → Privacy. Both are deleted after 90 days.
  • Outside your family, your location is seen only by people you send a share link to (until it ends), web browsers and Apple TVs someone in your family signs in, and BRYKK staff running the service.
  • Driving-sensor diagnostics are recorded only after you tap Send on your phone when BRYKK support asks. They hold motion statistics, never your location, and stop after 7 days.
  • Your medical details are not shared with your family unless you turn on Share with my family; turning it off deletes the shared copy. After a possible collision, your card is sent through our push service to your own Lock Screen for first responders.
  • Deleting your account erases your data from our service, our website and your phone. An anonymous "Deleted member" marker stays so old devices can't sign back in.

BRYKK is available in the United States.
