How does posting work?+
Tap the amber + button in the app, pick what you're posting (sell, give away, request, event, garage sale), add photos and a location, and it goes live to neighbors nearby. Browsing is free — posting takes a free account and about 20 seconds.
How do I meet a buyer or seller safely?+
In any chat, tap Meet Safely to propose a public exchange spot — fire stations, police departments, and libraries near you. You choose where and when. Your exact home or listing location is never shown, and you never have to share your address.
Someone is behaving badly. What do I do?+
Tap Report on any listing, message, or profile — one report hides a listing immediately for a human to review. You can also block anyone from inside your chat with them, and manage blocked neighbors in Settings.
How do I reset my password?+
Signed in? Open the app → You → Settings → Reset password, and we'll email you a secure link. Signed out? On the sign-in screen tap “Forgot password?” — same reset link. Reset links are completed here on brykk.app.
How do I delete my account?+
Open the app → You → Settings → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account, listings, messages, and saves.
Is BRYKK Local free?+
Yes — browsing, posting, messaging, and safe meetups are free for neighbors, always. Only local businesses pay, and only for the optional Pro alert tools they choose.
