Hold their card
On the Family page, press and hold the person's card.

Choose Exact spot
Or open their page and tap the Exact spot tile.

Read it, or Navigate
You'll see the place name (when they're at a place you can see), the street address, how accurate the location is and when it was updated. Navigate opens directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps.
Why it's in words
The everyday page shows the kind of place and the state (“At School · since 8:02”), not a pin. The exact address appears only when you ask for it, or during an emergency. It keeps the page calm and the family's exact whereabouts out of casual view.

Check the “updated” time. If it's old, hold the card and choose Ask for a fresh location first.
Private places
If someone is at a place they saved as personal, other family members see “Out” on the card, never the place name. Exact spot still gives the street address, so the family can always find them.
