Turn Classic map on or off

Open Settings
On the Family page, tap the gear next to Check in.

Find Family Tab
Go to Tab bar → Family Tab.

Switch Classic map
On shows the map on the Family tab. Off shows the Family page, where each person is a living scene.
It's a setting on your phone only; everyone in the family can choose for themselves. Live updates, alerts and SOS work the same either way.
Android currently shows the map. The Family page comes to Android after iPhone.
Reading the map
Every family member is a small avatar with a colored ring:
- Green: at a saved place
- Blue: driving
- Amber: stopped, not at a saved place
- Red: SOS active
- Gray: the last location is old. Always read the update time before assuming a pin is current.
When several people are at one saved place, they share a soft habitat bubblearound it. A driving pin shows speed, and a pulse when a destination is set. When you're zoomed in, people off screen appear as rings on the edge.

Pinch to zoom, drag to pan, tap an avatar for their details, and tap recenter to fit everyone back in view. Bubble size is in Settings → Preferences.
Only on Classic map
- Weather radar. The precipitation overlay lives on the map. The Family page shows the weather inside each scene instead.
- Saved-place ring colors (BRYKK Life) only show on the map.
- Quick routes from the status bar.
